The compact Myral recessed spotlight was developed to replace a commonly used metal halide spotlight with a vertically mounted 70 W lamp. Due to the small dimensions and the narrow beam characteristic, typically this old lamp had very poor efficiency of only 30 lm/W. Myral achieves up to 146 lm/W with identical size and can generate up to 4,500 lm luminous flux – with a diameter of just 120 mm and an installation depth of 110 mm.
Three different reflectors in Spot (S), Medium (M) and Flood (F) versions are available and can therefore be used for different lighting requirements. The hemispherical cover of the LED module mixes the light before it enters the reflector and protects against mechanical stresses during installation or inspection.
