Jewel from the 19th century – The refurbished train platform lighting at Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station is ultra-modern and anything but historic. The existing pendant luminaire (Hellux) was replaced by an LED solution from RIDI. Deutsche Bahn relied on our expertise in lighting technology and production. To create the lighting calculation, RIDI technically developed the conversion kit on an existing luminaire. The lighting technology was tested in the RIDI lighting laboratory and proved to be a good solution in terms of compliance and function.
