As the most compact luminaire in its class, LBK is a light construction kit that offers performance and comfort features of much larger linear luminaires. Despite its width of only 25 mm and height of 50 mm, the latest generation of LBK luminaires accommodates the power supply and terminals within the housing. When surface-mounted, the light is cleverly directed onto the surrounding surface via a special linear prismatic system on the side, thus continuing the special photometric features of its first inarnation using a fluorescent lamp.
The light building kit is elegant as an individual luminaire, but also lives up to its name "building kit" to create innovative and dynamic constructs: in addition to the linear connectors, corner angle, cross and T-connectors are available to generate almost any construction design. The square construction shown consists exclusively of the 4 standard lengths 573, 873, 1173 and 1473 mm and is connected via linear and 90° nodes.
The standard light construction kit has an external transparent PMMA cover and an additional internal diffuser optic. This combination leads to a unique appearance and a play of light reflexes and insights into the housing. An opal diffuser is also available as an option if an even more diffuse beam pattern is to be achieved.
The new light kit not only has exactly the same dimensions as its predecessor, but also has the same mounting holes and feed openings. This enables a 1:1 exchange in no time at all opening up simple refurbishment opportunities? Give us a call and we will be happy to advise you.
